Ship Eugenie Drawing Gallery
The only images that remain today of
Ship Eugenie were excellent line drawings made during her Norwegian
ownership, which was after she was converted from full-rigged to a barque.
There are two drawings of Eugenie. The first (and earliest, it is
believed) shows her flying the Norwegian Flag and in full sail for good
weather. The second drawing has Eugenie flying the Union Flag and
rigged for foul weather.
Both pictures are from crystal
clear photo copies obtained from the archives of the Norsk
Sjofartsmuseum, Oslo, Norway.
Click the "thumbnails" below and wait
for the full picture to open in a new window. There are
two versions for each of the two drawings, one a lower resolution image
for faster download time, and the other a very large high resolution image
which will take quite some time to download. After each picture has
opened, you may right click the image and save it to your hard disk for
further processing in you photo processor and printing.
